It's always been my dream to go to the University of Michigan, and I got in, except I would have to pay complete out of state tuition since i'm from Ohio, which is expected to be about 40,000. It's such a great school in every aspect, especially since it's where i've always wanted to go, that i don't want to let my admission go. But then at Ohio State I received two scholarships, and it would only cost 7,000 per year and i'd be in the Honors Program. At Miami i received two scholarships as well, including the University Honors Program, and it would total to about 9,000 per year. i didn't get any scholarships from UM, and i have no need-based aid. i'm interested in psychology to get to med school to become a psychiatrist, where should i go?

If there is any way to go to Michigan without completely breaking your parents' finances, go there.

OSU. It has your big in-state med school and almost everything Michigan has. And the winters are shorter at OSU. The difference between OSU and U of M isn't worth 33,000 a year--especially if you're going to have med-school debt later. Your parents will thank you for going in-state. Miami is a very fine choice, too. Smaller school, prettier campus, more rural environment, also fine for pre-med.

I'd say...if money isnt a problem...go to michigan if you can...but if money is a factor in your decisions go to osu...

Ohio State by a landslide. Michigan's psychology program is superb, but it is definitely not worth incurring that much debt when you plan to go to medical school (obviously extremely expensive).
