I am senior from Canada trying to decide between U of T and Mcgill for physics.
Any advice regarding programs, residences, campus life, community etc. would be appreciated.

McGill if you want a GPA over 3.0.

^^^^lol…physics is hard no matter where you go. However from what ive heard (from the internet) the marks in physics at uoft tend be low. It might just be that these people whine alot or ther marking is acutally harder. Regardless to be on the safe side if i wer u id go to mcgill and then maybe masters at uoft since there known for research. The social scene for both schools is good there both in great cities.

McGill’s social scene is much much much better. Smaller school and almost no commuters.

^^^^not entirely true…the social scenes of both schools is related more to the cities then anything else…most people do more clubbing…though im not going to disagree about the commuter factor…and mcgill is a large university maybe smaller then uoft but still big

Montreal has a much better nightlife. And McGill has much more of a community feel because most students actually live on campus. McGill is like half the size of U of T.

go to UofT, more hard, more advanced.
it has great advantages to it and many extra curiculurs to offer.
IF YOU love physics as much as i do then go to UofT institute of aerospace dinamics, its great for physics.

If you look at 335426607’s posting history, he states that he is currently in the 8th grade. His spelling would seem to prove that.
