Hey Everyone!
So I have my U Penn Alum Interview tomorrow night... I have had interviews for four other Ivy League schools, and each one has been extremely different. I never know what to expect when I walk in... I've had them range from deep philosophical debates on the merits of the US Constitution to the party lifestyle/Greek life... has anyone had a U Penn interview yet this year?? Any chances they will be similar or is it all up to the discretion of the interviewer? Any last minute advice?
Thanks!

Usually it’s small talk and see where it goes. My son related how the lights flickered in the room during the interview and they ended up discussing Hurricane Sandy and its effects for 15 minutes.

Mine was awesome. The only thing that threw me was the first question: “What kind of friend are you?” Since my interview, I’ve come up with a much better answer, but at the time I really fumbled with it. Other than that, it was mostly him talking about Penn and asking me questions to figure out who I am.
