My friend and I are from Asia. She had just graduated from college and was wondering of which universities in the U.S. and Australia confer MA in Early Childhood Education. I am currently researching bit by bit of universities that confer it, but of course your help would be highly appreciated as you may surely know well about US/Australian Universities offering MA in Early Childhood Education.

When you say MA do you mean MAT (teaching) or MED (Administration/Education). MAT is shorter than an MED. MED usually allows people to write curriculum- both qualify you to teach.

MAT schools include Christipher Newport, Georgetown, Sierra Nevada College-a quick search on the internet will pull up a lot more schools.

MED includes- George Mason, University of Maryland, University of Colorado-again an internet search should find these things for you easily.

Or do you mean an academic/theory based MA about Early Childhood education e.g. classes in child development, educational theory, history of education? One that does not give you a teaching qualification? These are pretty common in the UK. Teachers and others working with young children take them.
