U.S. History or Literature Subject Test easier to self study??

Hey guys,
I had originally signed up for the Bio and Lit subject tests, but some of my friends at school told me that Lit is extremely hard and some super genius girl from my school who got into Princeton only got a 600 on it and didn’t submit. I am nowhere near as smart as her, so I’m seriously considering switching. I haven’t taken Lit yet, I’m taking AP Lit and Comp my senior year.

Would it better if I took US History instead? Is US History easier to self-study??

I’m not that good at critical reading; my CR SAT score was like a 710 or 720…so I’ve heard Lit is a harder version of CR with more obscure and advanced passages…

Suggestions please??

Do you have the CB blue book for subject tests? The best way to figure out if a test is easy or not (for you) is to actually take a test from that book. Some people think that Lit is easier than CR because the questions are less tricky. The passages include poems and plays and sometimes the language is harder but the questions are more straight forward. The CR sections includes non fiction, scientific type of articles or passages as well. You will not find those in the lit.
Don’t just show up for the test. Take a practice first and see for your self.
