Hey. I have no interest in science, but am sure I'm going to take the MathII in October. I need 2 subject tests, but can't decide what the 2nd should. I got a 650 on CR my 2nd SAT sitting, whereas I got a 690 M and 710 W. I can't decide whether i should take the Lit. SATII since my CR score was my lowest. I want to be a creative writing major, I'm just not very good at answering college board's inane literary questions.

So, whats the easiest test between literature or one of the history exams? I think i could do well on USH or World History with a little bit of studying, as history always was my favorite class (i had a fantastic teacher). But should i take lit. simply because its in my major?

I thought the U.S. history was easy; I got a 730 (May). I heard the lit has a harsh curve.

language tests are extremely easy.
but if i had to choose from the two above, id choose US History.

If you know the fundamentals of physics, you should easily get over 750+ because the test has a really generous curve.

Uh, my Spanish classes would not have been sufficient for me to even score a 600 on the exam. Do so only if you know your language preparation has been rigorous enough.

Lit, I hear, is pretty difficult though. You're probably better off with World or US History.

anhtimmy - are the language tests really that easy?

us history is definitely pretty easy as long as you paid attention in class and studied well for the ap test in may.

literature isn't as hard as you would think but then again, english and critical reading are my high points. do what you know most about and you should be fine, although studying is crucial.

I thought the SATII for US History was way harder than the AP Test.
I got a 720....but still...I guess it was hard because it was just different from the AP test. They don't ask questions which refer to trends and the "big picture" ideas and whatnot like AP does. So i think it is a lot more narrowly focused than the AP. They just ask specific random questions. If you study specifics like elections, what presidents did exactly, and authors you will do well.

Not Lit...I got an 800 on CR, but only a 740 on Lit, and that's with Lit's HUGE curve.
