Could anyone tell me some things about UAB’s BFA MT program? I went to SETC and recieved a callback from one of the theatre professors, but I want to know more about the program.
My daughter is a freshman this year. She auditioned at 13 schools last year and was accepted to 7. Her list was quite varied and contained some safety and highly competitive schools. She passed every prescreen. In the end she was accepted to one highly competitive program among her 7, but chose UAB because of the musical theatre director, faculty, and the flexibility and newness of the program. She has had a wonderful freshman year so far and has received much support and instruction. We saw her in their freshman showcase and already I can see growth.
