(Undergrad pre-dental and dental school)
Considering:
1. I live in NJ
2. Pacific is way more expensive.
3. I want to specialize after dental school
4. UB is a 7year
5. University of the Pacific is a 6 year
6. Repuation

I stayed overnight for Pacific's Honors Day program. I'm also in the six-year, but I don't plan on going. If you want to get started on your career earlier, I guess Pacific would be the better choice. Did you try appealing to their financial aid office?

I don't know anything about UB, so I can't say anything at all, but you should ask the students and dental school admission officer there about what UB has to offer (and what other dental schools don't have). Financially speaking, UB might be better, considering that Pacific's six-year program spends three years in Stockton and three years in San Francisco, where the dorm costs could rise by a whole lot because of the area. Any specializing (dental surgery, orthodontics, periodontics, etc) are taught at the San Francisco campus.
