UBC Admission Question

Hello.

I'm an International Student (American curriculum) studying in Asia. My question is whether SAT is required for INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, I've searched the site already and it does say America needs SAT but I always hear otherwise. I don't know what to believe.

TL;DR
Does UBC require SAT score for International students under America curriculum.

Reason I'm asking is because I haven't taken the SAT's yet and I'm about to be a senior (August 2014). I've taken several AP's and will take more this year. GPA is fairly decent. I am planning on taking the next SAT, but I'm not sure if I have to send it in (in case it's bad).

It’s a good idea to take the SAT, but this would be a question you should ask directly, exactly as above, to the UBC admission team.

The only way to find out for sure is to ask. But the wording on [this page](http://you.ubc.ca/admissions/international-curricula/) suggests that you would probably need SAT scores. Notice how it refers to country-patterned curricula (not schools physically located in that country) and adds “either in Canada or abroad.”
