I’ve been admitted for biology to UBC (Canada), McGill (Canada), and UCLA. I have a huge interest in neuroscience and am aiming to become a neurologist.
For UBC, i was admitted to the dual degree program where you earn your bachelors degree and a master in management in 4.5 years.
I live in BC, so I’ve kind of already ruled out McGill because of how far away it is and not being all that worth it to freeze my butt off. I’m mainly wondering, will I get the same undergrad quality at UBC than at UCLA? I’ve seen that neuroscience for UCLA ranks quite high, which makes me really question where to go. Finance isn’t really an issue.
Also, for either school, is it just as possible for me to get in to a top U.S. medical grad school, or is there an advantage to going to either?
Anything helps!! thank you:)
