Hi, I am currently attending a community college in California and I was wondering if there are going to be any UCs that are accepting Spring 2011 transfer applications. I know that UCMerced is open for Spring 2011 transfers. I am resided in Orange County and I was hoping that UCIrvine would accept transfers during Spring 2011. If anybody hears any news, please feel free to respond! Thank you!

Do UCs accept Spring transfers???

im guessing you mean spring 2012, as it is spring 2011 right now… But anyways, I doubt they will be. Maybe Ucm, but definetly not Uci.

I am 99% sure that none of the campuses except for Merced are accepting Spring admissions.

Yeah, I mean 2012. This thread was posted last year.

lol you went through the trouble of bumping a year old thread instead of just making a new topic? xD

Easier to just make a new thread.

And from now on only UCM will be accepting Spring admits.

LOL, I did not. I was simply googling “Spring transfer 2012” and this came up.

What do you guys know about UCM? How is its reputation?

It’s the worst ranked of the UCs–it’s not ranked at all, actually, nor is it accredited (though it probably will be soon).

If they let you go for free and you have no other options you might as well, but I wouldn’t recommend Merced to anyone at this point. It’s just too young.

^ well if no body goes there then how will it grow?
