UC accepts bad AP Spanish scores

If someone were to get a 1 or 2 on the Spanish exam, could they still get some credit at any of the UCs? Someone told me that this exam is the only exception while you must get a 3 on the other exams in order to get credit.

I mean, couldn't the native Spanish speakers curve the test?

Foreign language test curves are determined by non-native scores only, I believe.

So what would happen to those who are native speakers?

Same curve. That’s why many native speakers pass the exam.

Ok thanks, but do you know if the UCs would accept a 1 or 2?
