UC App question!! HELP!

Hi,
On my UC app it asked for extracurriculars/volunteer/work etc.
I put math team for one because i'm on the math team and the program is integrated into our math curriculum (Calc BC) and put 3-4 hours a week i cant remember which for 30 weeks. Will I get in trouble for this? It said time spent on the activity...when it asked to describe it I also wrote that it was integrated into the classroom (we do more stuff than other calc classes in our school to prepare us for math competitions etc). Did I misinterpret the hours/week part?
Thanks

Technically an extracurricular activity is, as the name implies, outside of your regular curriculum. I will assume that at least part of the activity (the competitions, for example) was conducted outside of your regular school/class hours in which case it would qualify as an extra curricular activity. I do not believe that you will get “in trouble” for including this activity as an extracurricular even though some of the hours you listed were put in during regular school hours. To help yourself feel better, think about a student who lists a “student government” position as an extracurricular and who very likely puts in a great deal of that time during school hours on things such as morning announcements, posting flyers, making class presentations about upcoming activities, etc.

It will be fine. GOOD LUCK with your application!!!

Yes it is and so is the extra homework thats assigned sometimes to prepare us. Thanks so much. Hopefully I’m fine.
