Any UCI hopefuls get a confirmation yet?

@newsoul

You can update both your fall and winter grades if your winter grade are posted before the deadline for the January update which I believe is either at the end of January or the beginning of the February. I talked to a UCSD admissions officer today about winter grades and she said they wouldn’t but looked at, but might help in the case of an appeal in May. So if you can update your winter grades by Jan/Feb you may as well include them.

@ JDF, I submitted mine on the 18th and I still haven’t received it. Hopefully nothing is wrong.

got a message from UCD thinking it was my ID:

Season’s greetings from UC Davis! As you prepare to transfer to a UC campus next year, we invite you to attend a free University of California financial aid workshop:

Tuesday, January 10, 2012, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Sacramento City College Student Center *
3835 Freeport Blvd.
Sacramento, CA 95822

You do not need to register to attend—parents and guardians are welcome. UC Davis financial aid officer Delores Jones will guide you through the financial aid process, including information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Cal Grant program.

I hope you will take advantage of this workshop. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the UC financial aid process and what you can do to plan for the cost of your college education. Please mark January 10 on your calendar and note that the filing period for your FAFSA and Cal Grant applications is January 1-March 2, 2012.

Thank you for your interest in UC Davis. Happy holidays and best wishes for 2012!

Regards,
Pamela Blanco

hmm…it’s probably not in chronological order then…

mine was forwarded 2 days after i submitted. I submitted on the 18th…which probably wasn’t such a congested period like the 27th.

oh sweet! finally got this email:
Your application has been sent to the following UC campus(es) for their review:

I regret applying to UCLA, caught up in the hype.

^ Maybe you’ll get in, spend a weekend in LA checking out the campus and end up meeting the greatest boy/girl of your life. Life is weird.

^HAHAHA. that sounds awesome nevertheless.

^^Yes, I activated their UCInetID account

least you got a fee waiver Kitty. I dropped 350 bones to submit my apps. :O(
I shouldn’t have…I had to drop out of fall semester except for one class so I’m not going to be as competitive for engineering. ■■■

@ lawlking when did you submit it again? I submitted mine on the 18th and still haven’t gotten mine as well JDS. It seems like they just stopped sending them out after a certain date or something.

I got the email from uci saying thank you for applying and what not but it didn’t say anything about logging in to anything.

Is that normal?

^I got the exact same thing

I got that email, just activated MyUCInet and MyAdmissions@UCI

Scroll down to the bottom of the email, and click “Contact Preferences”

That will take you to a page with your “profile”

The first line says: Student ID: XXXXXXXX

open netid2.nacs.uci.edu, click students, and copy and paste your id# to activate your account :)
