i think the TAU is still letting you update from MOST recent grades. i think what they wanted the most was Fall Grades, they don’t let you see those grades entered on the TAU, fer.

You can still update the TAU at any time. The deadline for the 31st was just the priority deadline, which means they will guarantee that they take it into consideration for your admission. You can still update it but now there is no guarantee it will be considered when reading your app.

so does that mean, update or not , it doesn’t matter right?

Do the update, the sooner the better. The worst thing that can happen is that they have already decided on your application. If they haven’t read your app yet then they will see the update on it.

So I will change winter IP into A

then spring still PLanned? or IP. I will start my spring semester in like 2 days

Just do IP so you only have to update it once. They prob won’t even touch it over the weekend anyways.

Just leave it as is. You only have to worry about changing it if you drop/add something.

Yup. Good luck!

Do UC’s take spring grades less seriously since they don’t see the grades until after you’ve been accepted?

Senioritis from high school has followed me till now >.>

@iMunster

By the time your spring grades roll out, you’ll already know if you’ve been accepted or not so your grades then won’t be a factor to your admissions. Just don’t fail your classes. If you do, then your acceptance may very well be rescinded and you won’t get in.

so i’m definately getting my winter grades by this weekend if not Monday. Should i go to TAU and change IP to my grade or will it look bad as in “oh he updated his application AFTER JANuary 30!” ?

guys, i just talked with this dude that transferred last year. He said winter+spring can be sent in june or july… forgot the day. It doesn’t matter you update winter or not, you can neither leave it the way it is. Just dont fail or drop any classes, if yes report to them. So basically, just sit back, relax, chill, and wait for ur result.

biting my nail…

There is nothing wrong about updating your tau after the 31st. They are not going to deny you because you updated it after lol. They just wanted everyone to get it in early so they can start reading and evaluating the apps. The worst thing that can happen is that they’ve already read your app and your late update doesn’t do anything.

I’m just fathoming at the idea of them approving my app early for getting my TAU in on time & them smiling & being happy.

are any FACEBOOK groups for transfers made?

^ kitty you never know, they got someof the freshman apps out pretty early this year so I don’t see why they can’t get transfer apps out early.

I will def be joining/making a transfer group on facebook for ucsd if I get in.

i would be happy! they might as well. whats on the schedule for april/may/june/july?

anyone get this 3 card fold out, double sided mail from University of California with details about financial aid?

^ yee, a couple weeks ago, I wish it was something more interesting…like decisions lol

the freshmen in the irvine section are so cute. they are so frantic they didn’t get into UCI because they haven’t gotten a decision from the “first batch”

Haha I read those posts too… I bet that’s how it’s going to be here on the transfer boards when the time comes :p
