UC Berkeley and UCLA should I apply to L&S for CS or COE?

Hi, I do not know which college I should apply to. I come from an average school in the valley of California. I know that I have a higher chance getting in applying to letters and sciences, but what do you think I should do?

GPA UW: 4.0
GPA W: ~4.4

7 AP Classes/3 Honors
took 7 years of math: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Math Analysis, AP Stats, AP Calculus, Finite Math (all math offered at my school)

took 5 years of sciences: Biology, Honors Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Environmental Science

SAT: 720 M 630 CR 680 W = 2030 total
ACT: 33 E 30 M 32 R 26 S = 30.25 total

I know my SAT reading is kinda low but my math score makes up for it. Also my sat and act scores kind of contradict each other since I do well on math on SAT but better on english/reading on act. (good/bad thing thing?)

AP Scores:
Biology - 3
Statistics - 4
English Comp - 4

Taking more APs this may(calculus, environmental sci, physics)

Also taking subject tests this december for Math 2 and Physics.

Officer of FBLA for 2 years, in it for all 4 years
Baseball 2 years
Physics club
League of legends top .6% of ranked players??
Math award from precalculus teacher who has a PhD in quantum mechanics?

There are more things I can list but I just want to know which college I should apply to in each university.

bump!

Although you are in state and have a higher chance of getting in, I would say apply to L&S as it is marginally less competitive than CoE and would be a safer bet with your current stats.

Thanks!

Berkeley isn’t as hung up on grades as you might think. My daughter got in and her SATs weren’t that good at all. Her GPA was good but Cal is looking to see what you say on your application essay. You have to offer them something different than what the other students all do. And sports don’t always count either, my daughter had none. Her life story and how she overcame horrible personal difficulties was what she talked about. She just graduated with honors BTW with a BS in Molecular Plant Genetics. Go Bears!

Bump!
