@Bookham yeah, I have no idea but I do have a gut feeling its for LS. And hey, it’s totally possible. A lot of kids that get into Berkeley are hoping to be accepted off the wait list to some other big name prestigious school, you’ve got hope!

@Tammy123 I appealed for the College of Engineering too. Still no updates on my part.

@SB0112 I hope not. Yes, it is quite difficult to be admitted into that college and I only realized how competitive it was after I wasn’t admitted. I don’t mean to sound cocky at all.

@kma0296 thanks lol you’re totally right; also I heard that Berk pulled some chemistry majors off of the waitlist! That means a significant amount I people did opt for a different school. Fingers crossed that a bunch of people did/other people decline their offer lol

@surpris3 no one really knows, my portal just says check back regularly and theyll try n get it out by june 2nd >.> could be before the day, could be after

So when a counselor called last week they said that they were doing waitlist that week. People notified on the waitlist were given 5 days (so this tuesday/wednesday) to make their decision once they hear back then they start appeals this week.

@Tammy123 Yeah, because so many of the classes are sequential COE doesn’t offer spring admission to students. I agree, it would be nicer if they allowed alternate majors

@Bookham don’t worry about berkeley decisions during your exams week, most likely they will be released on or after June 1st, especially considering only 1-2% appeals are accepted, the rest of the people probably won’t even get a reply until mid June

They wont release any after June 1st. It will be before, most likely this week or early next because they want to hear back before June 1st. Their goal is to have all admission stats in by June 1st, that’s what I was told after i contacted one of the assistant directors of admission.

I may get rejected from appeal decisions but at least I can do the three most difficult things in the world, that none of you guys can, which just incase your wondering is as follows

The 3 most difficult things to do in the world.

1) You can’t count your hair
2) You can’t wash your eyes with soap
3) You can’t breath when your tongue is out

No and when I emailed her all she said was late May. During the phone call last week they said they were finishing up waitlist and appeals would be notified shortly after
