UC Berkeley cs at l&S Vs UCLA cs regent

So I got accepted into Cal cs at the school of letter and science (not ecss, and without regent) and into UCLA cs with regent. I am from San Diego and I don’t really care about the location. Haven’t seen either campus. My parents want me to go to Cal because of its reputation, and I thought being closer to silicon valley is good. However, since ucla gives me regent (only 2000 dollars a year, so not much of a deal), I feel like i am being liked (i know this is stupid). I would like some opinion on which one to choose. Also, do those perks of regent at ucla matter? Like priority enrollment, does it help at all?

Thank you!

BTW,
I don’t fear heavy workload at cal
I don’t prefer eecs over cs at cal

You are actually not officially in Berkeley L&S CS yet.
You need to apply to the major after completing three courses with 3.3 GPA.

Priority enrollment and guaranteed housing can actually huge.
Does UCLA also offer you guaranteed research?

“Students entering UC Berkeley in fall 2015 or after fall 2015 must complete CS 61A, CS 61B, and CS 70 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 in order to petition for admission to the major.”
