UC Berkeley, Davis or LA?

I'm a junior with pretty bad grades so far (doing better this year) but really good sat scores and okay extracurriculars. I'm from Massachussetts and I really want to go to California for college preferably one of the UC schools.

I am half Colombian and half Jewish but my Spanish isn't very good.

My SAT score is 2250(MA-720 CR-750 WR-780) and I took the chem sat but I got a 610 so I might retake it later.
My GPA is 3.23 unweighted out of 4.0
My extracurriculars and clubs are as follows:
1-year freshman soccer
1-year frisbee
3-years Model UN
1-year Science Team
1-year Novice, 1-year Varsity crew
1-year 9-months working at my grandpa's bookstore

Honors Classes and all electives:
AP-Bio
Honors Computers
Honors Computer Repair and Support (You might have noticed I'm into computers)
Honors Math
Design Exploratory
Art Minor (bad idea)

I'm planning on taking the AP Bio and AP Computer Science A tests and I expect to do very well on those. I am in honors math and sciences but Curriculum 1 everything else.

With good essays do I have a chance at these UC schools?

i would say that your GPA is too low for berkeley or LA especially since you are out of state, but since you have an amazing SAT score, you have a chance at Davis

Thanks I’ill try to get my gpa up and go for davis.

Cal and UCLA will be pretty high reaches with your stats.
Apply to the other UCs.

LA, Cal - reaches to high reaches
Davis, Irvine, SB - matches
