No, I think Berkeley just writes “evening” in the hopes that people won’t be refreshing the decision site starting at 5 a.m. Little do they know . . .

I mean, I sincerely doubt that an east coast applicant wouldn’t be able to figure out that they are in a different time zone than California.

admission decisions might be out soon, but i don’t think “evening” is for people in the east. they applied to berkeley and they have to know its PST since berkeley is in the west. that’s the logic

I have absolutely nothing worthwhile to add to this thread, but I am seriously ready to have a nervous breakdown. Why are they doing this to us??

lol i think FeeFee u’ve got a point. i remember when i was in high school i applied for berkeley n the decision came out around 3 ish. and i didn’t get in :(

the site always goes down when updating the decisions…usually for about 20-30 min…it will say that they are updating

As far as the evening … it always says that every year. That’s because they like to allow themselves the entire day just in case something comes up w/ the system (bugs, problems, etc.) but they usually always come out mid to late afternoon

could someone post the URL of the site to check? i applied as an afterthought and if i get in it will be a miracle… but i figure since i’m home today ill check

haha no i want it so badddd!!!. i will give you ucla :). but i don’t have a spot at ucb i promise. i would bet money against myself on getting in. haha.
