I don’t think a W in a non prereq is an issue at all. Your GPA is in range and if you have really great EC and work experience Id say it won’t hurt to apply.

I’m still deciding as well. I love the opportunities that Haas gives and would really love to go to Berkeley, and wouldn’t want to blow my chances to go there by applying to Haas. But consider L&S gives you alot of flexibility as a transfer considering you have alot of math completed.

I don’t think it would be too much of a negative impact, though Managerial is something you’ll have to use in Haas. Luckily, you can take the upper division Managerial, which is a requirement for the major.

I do not know if they need an explanation for the W, but I’m sure it would not hurt.

I have found that completing the class, even with a B, is usually preferred to a W. Get a B is not the end of the world that most people assume. Ws are usually considered for Cs and Ds. However, if it’s with health issues than I would not take the chance and work yourself to death. Dropping it should not harm you greatly. But I am not a Haas admissions person.

Don’t worry, you are not the only one. I have 21 units and I am running back and forth between my city and Berkeley for concurrent enrollment. It’s the most wonderful time of the (school) year.
