“I also read from another forum that someone called the admissions office at CAL and confirmed that the average transfer gpa is 3.6.”

That person was in the Berkeley decisions for Psychology thread and he called to check for the average admitted gpa for psychology major, not the average transfer gpa in general. Still though, that’s seems like good news considering that psychology is an impacted major.

yeaaaa but I have to go to grad school anyways so it doesnt really matter where I go for undergrad cause I need to save money for grad school instead. BUT it would be awesome if I could go to school for free and go to a GREAT GREAT GREAT school like CAL! so im hoping theyd give me enough :l

Yeah I’m pretty sure the email thing was just a leak that happened in 2011.

If you go to the 2013 pych transfer thread, there’s someone who has called the admissions office repeatedly to ask about admissions questions including the emails and the reassured him that the financial aid office has no communication with the admissions office and the email was only sent out if your fin aid application was incomplete.

@CQBanana, I hope Berkeley doesn’t pull a SDSU on me.

I got an email from SDSU telling me to log in to see my admission decision only to find that I was rejected. You think they could have been nice and saved me the trouble of having to log in to see my failure.

I talked to my Berkeley rep today. She said more or less around five and they might post it before 5, but she also said she wouldn’t hold her breath.

Best of luck to everyone… someone should make a Facebook group for Cal transfers which are also College Confidential Dwellers :D… we could help each other out with stuff… just a thought lol
