So I am basically a prospective 1-year transfer student who applied for Fall 2022 waiting on their decisions from UCLA and UC Berkeley as well as a couple of other places, and I was wondering if you could do a quick chance me in your opinion!
A little know about me:
- First generation in the U.S. / second-gen overall college student
- Low income bracket 30-40K
- Attending California CC
My UC Transfer GPA is a 3.85. Finished all prereqs for my major (poli-sci) and finished math/english requirements by application, listed on the TAU.
Extracurriculars:
- Internship for US Congresswoman (House of Reps)
- HSDA (High School Dems of America Community Chapter) President 2020-2021
- Model Congress chapter president since 2020
- Executive board (head of communications) on a for-profit organization which donates most of its funding to foster students across 5 continents, managed 5 chapters across 4 continents
- Competitive athlete / nationally ranked in a unique sport
- Tutor; tutored 40 kids non-profit
- Co-Founder of city organization that tutors high school peers (peer tutoring) for free in the entire district
