UC Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship

Hello, so recently I've had some questions about the Undergraduate Scholarship that UC Berkeley hands out. I am a recipient of the scholarship because when I applied, I had a GPA higher than 4.1 which qualified me to receive said scholarship. But on the website, it says that I needed to keep a 3.5 GPA in order to continue to receive the scholarship. Does anybody know what would happen if I didn't meet the GPA requirement? I know I should try my best to meet the qualifications but I'm worried since I'm struggling in two of my classes. Thank you!

Oh and does anyone know whether I need to submit a GPA every year to receive a Cal Grant? It says I need a 4.0 GPA but I was wondering if that was a one time thing with our high school GPAs or a continuous thing over the years we attend college.

For the undergraduate scholarship, if you don’t meet the requirements, then you would lose the scholarship.

Cal Grants are more financial based, so if you meet the level of financial need, then you would keep receiving the Cal Grant. You just need to apply for FAFSA on time each year. However, there’s a gpa requirement and you would have to submit a gpa, but it seems low. 3.0 gpa for Cal Grant A, and 2.0 gpa for Cal Grant B.
