UC Berkeley

What are the hardest and easiest majors to get into UC Berkeley? Am I more likely to get in if I apply as an environmental science major or undecided?

It doesn’t matter. Only the college you apply to will affect your chances.

The question is: under whose jurisdictions are environmental science and undecided?

College of Engineering and Chemistry are the most competitive and consider choice of major. Letters and Science don’t consider your major. The most difficult program to get admission to at Berkeley would be EECS (CoE) followed by ChemE (College of Chem). Undeclared L&S is the same as applying to any other L&S major; you’re all undeclared until your second year technically.

So to answer your question, no, your chances would be the same for both majors.
