UC Davis Fall 2014 TAG admission/Regular Admission

<p>I am currently a junior at a community college and was thinking about doing TAG for UC Davis. I notice the physiology requirements for Davis is a 2.8 gpa or higher. I currently have a weighted gpa at community college 2.93. The extra requirements needed for tag also states: </p>

<p>Meet or exceed the minimum overall GPA of 3.20 from the time your TAG is submitted, up to the time of enrollment.
Have already achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 2.90 for the courses from the group above that have been completed before submitting the UC TAG Application, e.g. if one course from the group is completed at the time the TAG is submitted, that course must be completed with a B grade or higher. </p>

<p>That mean when I submit my application during September my gpa will probably 2.9 ish. Do i need to maintain the current classes with at least a B or higher? Also what are my chances of Tag or regular admission?</p>

<p>Try to get that GPA up. I think you should have at least a 3.3 or similar to have a good chance at admission.</p>

<p>The new TAG requirement as of 2012 is that you MUST have a 3.2 GPA by the time you apply for TAG. You’re not eligible for TAG if your cumulative UC GPA (that is, what your GPA for all your UC-transferable courses is) is 2.9.</p>
