@Mznl8090 I did do the TAU, and i thought only UCBerkeley only did the update thing too. I have no idea.
@slimthick aww. I think I will just have to call the admissions tomorrow and see how it goes. thanks
UC Berkeley is the only school who has a seperate update/supplemental question. All you had to do for UC Davis and the other UC’s was do the TAU on the UC website. UC Davis does not have a separate update thing. Clicking on the “update grades” thing on the UC Davis My Admissions won’t let you do anything, If you needed to update your grades or schedule, you had to do it through the UC Fall TAU and that’s it.
@boxandwhiskers oh okay. That’s good to know. I think I am safe for now since I did submit the TAU. Thank you so much for your help!
@boxandwhiskers If I changed my schedule for Spring recently, how can I update it since I can’t edit changes to the UC App?
@cyan96 there’s not much you can do about that since it’s so late in the game and any admissions decisions have most likely already been made by now. You can call UC Davis if you really want to let them know the changes, but I doubt it will really do anything. If you are accepted and they ask you to submit your official transcripts with your Spring grades they’ll see that you changed your schedule and probably ask you about it. You can then explain that you made last minute changes to your Spring schedule after the TAU update deadline had already passed, and that’s the reason. It’s the same for any of the other UC’s.
@boxandwhiskers okay thanks for the reply!
Here is the contact info for UC Davis if you (or anybody) want to reach someone directly to note the change in your schedule.
Davis - (530) 752-2971
@cyan96 I don’t think it would hurt to call, but I don’t think the change in your schedule is going to sway any decisions already made so that’s your call if you want to let them know or not. If they were, it would be after decisions come out which is when they’ll probably ask you whats up with the changes in your schedule. It’s really just a 16-day waiting game for decisions now. What class was it and what’s your major?
@boxandwhiskers Thanks for the help. I dropped a Gen Ed class that I’ve listed on my app. Also, I added a comp sci class at another college not listed on my app (not required for Davis). My major is computer science btw.
@cyan96 oh okay, that’s not too bad. As long as it isn’t a complete overhaul of your schedule or a required quantitative math or english course.
This group is for transfer students who are expected to graduate this year right? Not necessarily transfer in this year: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ucdavisclassof2016/
@napapapa that is my understanding. Especially because I could have sworn I’ve seen one for 2017 UC Davis transfers.
@CATransfer2016 Thanks for the reply, I would have figured that maybe someone who TAGed would’ve already created the Transfer 2018 group already.
Has anyone received their decision from UCD? My friend got their rejection but mine is still pending.
I’ve been watching this thread just haven’t commented, but @teejayjay is your friend a freshman or transfer? I was under the impression that all transfer decisions were being released the 22nd. And mine is still pending
UC Davis transfer decisions come out on April 22nd, not any day before that.
@Mbr131 transfer. Weird, maybe she’s just messing with me then.
@teejayjay: May she TAG’d to UCD and her TAG was approved. As long as she fulfills the TAG requirements, she will be accepted.
No tag, and she just confirmed that it was UCD that rejected her. So no one else got their decision?
Sorry, I read the post wrong that she was admitted. Well maybe she did not meet the 60 semester/90 quarter units required for transfer or has some other glaring admission on her application which they knew would give her an automatic rejection so they told her early.
