UC Davis Fall 2018 Transfer Thread

Hey guys, I couldn’t find a transfer thread for Davis on this page. So here it is!

Major: Clinical Nutrition (but planning to change it to Sustainable Agricultural and Food Systems)
GPA: 3.65
TAG: Nope
ECs: Internship at UCB

Pre-Reqs Completed: Missing bio series
Other: I’m a re-entry student, student-parent, and first-gen college student

I posted this on the main UC Transfer thread but Davis is my top choice so might as well here
Major: Sociology
GPA: 3.6ish (I’m not really sure as a CSU transfer exactly which classes they’ll take into consideration)
TAG: Nope
ECs: A lot of volunteer work, a lot of major related stuff but nothing extraordinary.
IGETC: done
Pre-Reqs Completed: Done
Other: CSU Transfer

Major: Agricultural and Environmental Education.
GPA: 3.60-3.70.
TAG: Yep.
ECs: Army Veteran, Vet Club Treasurer.
IGETC: Done.
Pre-Reqs Mostly completed the ones that were offered at my school. The only one that I’m missing is one bio class.
Other: I’m an immigrant, an Army vet, and a first generation college student.

@Sanla124 Thanks. It’s been a long journey, especially since I dropped out of HS when I was a junior. Sometimes I wish I could have changed some things, but then I realize that all of these things made me the man I am today.

Btw, when do you think decisions will come out?

I think decisions are set to be released on the 20th. But I heard from a Davis rep that they may come out on the 13th. if they finish processing all of the applications. The rep said that decisions are for sure always released on a Friday after 4pm
