<p>UIUC hands down for anything engineering if you don't mind the weather.</p>
<p>Taffy - after lurking and following your adventures - go to Illinois and enjoy the Big 10 experience, do your ROTC thing. If you can't stand the weather, transfer. Give it a shot - no decision has to be unchangeable. You can always return to California somewhere.</p>

<p>I would probably choose UC Illinois over Davis considering you want a finance/economics type of major.</p>
<p>heyyy i'm instate at illinois and uofi is one of my options too. I'm also looking at finance. However uiuc is only known for its business program because of its accounting...its other business areas or not that strong. Plus the classes are HUGE and TAs often teach them (the profesors are too focused on their research).<br>
i dont know much about ucdavis so i guess i can't really make a comparison to uiuc...sorry!</p>

<p>i didn't get **** for money (loans dont count!), but my EFC was wayyy high so i didnt expect any.</p>
<p>i got into aviation with like a 3.3 weighted gpa with a major upward trend and 740 math, 640 reading, 670 writing. pretty good extracurriculars and decent essays.</p>
<p>I think the aviation college gives out a 4 grand times 4 years scholarship to 1 out of state aviation student each year, i think that puts me among 20 OOS students so i probably wont get that one.</p>
<p>Go with the Illi. Riot against the NCAA for trying to sanction your mascot. Join the peace corps. Actually do something with your life. Don't just profiteer by selling other people ****.</p>
<p>I'm not sure if i want to go army rotc or air force rotc. i seem to have the idea that i have more choices of i go afrotc, because i can probably go army from afrotc but not the other way around. also, if i get picked up for coast guard aviation blue 21 program, one of the requirements is i have to get my commitment void and i dont trust the army to do that.</p>
