UC Davis Transfers '09

Nervous :-s :-s

copied from my post in the UC Davis area:
<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-davis/667549-question-ucd-admissions.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-davis/667549-question-ucd-admissions.html</a></p>

It is correct that not all admissions decisions for transfer students have been posted but, those applications where the evaluation were completed and decisions made have been posted. We hope and plan to have additional evaluations and decisions for transfer students posted early April and no later than mid-April.

At this point I'd recommend checking your admissions decision at the end of every week. Again we hope to have additional decisions posted early April if not sooner.

Please note that having your decision is still pending in no way means that your chances for admissions is greater or less than those who have a decision already. It simply means that we have not completed a full review of your record and have not made a decision for your application.

Or I could just throw my computer out the window, only to buy a new one at the end of April.

Im with you there ..LOL !! I am very anxious ..I didnt even get sleep last night...!! The wait is killing me.

ashy, I'm the same way. I sleep horribly through the night and wonder if results might be posted at midnight. LOL.

What GPA are you guys listing here, the transferable courses (UC GPA) or overrall GPA for all courses?? Just curious

im sure the only gpa that matters is the UC gpa.

Just a random note to throw out there...

Got my letter from UCD today. Boy, they sure like to make it obvious that you got in, don't they?

So if you're having technical difficulties with the website, internet, or your computer, just wait for a big envelope that says "YOU'RE IN!" on the front. It should be a pretty good indication that you were accepted.

Is UC davis sending letters out in the mail? Can someone tell me what they say?

I've gotten it through myadmissions but not a letter yet. How does the letter look like? I'm actually kind of excited to get the official acceptance letters. lol.

I got an e-mail from UCD saying I got in.

Today I got my official letter! It's so tricked out (ROFLMAO!) You know you got in because it's in a large envelope saying: you're in! UC DAVIS! Then on the back, when you want to open it, it says congratulations! I thought there would be more inside...LOL.

Congratulations to everyone who got in, and who knows! LOL! I'm still waiting on Cal...yikessss. Keep up the Spring semester work!

Hi everyone. I'm super nervous about my application...I applied with a 4.0 GPA but have no TAG and a number of units left (though I'll have completed the 60 required by the end of May). I'm an English major. Any chance I'll get in? I've been checking twice a day but no answer as of yet...

Defintely in.

^
Are you referring to me? I am taking 28 units this semester and have A's so far...do they take into account if you have so many units to complete by Spring? I mean, I'll have them done...and I did 22 units last semester with no problem...I am so worried!

Bookjunkie are you a transfer or freshman?? Damn 28 units in 1 semester...yikes! /:)

Hi ashy,
I'm a transfer, but I had some AP scores that got me like 10.6 units or something random like that. I'm doing fine in my classes, but I didn't want to hang around another year, so I decided to complete my units to get in for Fall...not sure how this will work out :|

Wow 28 units!!!!!! that's crazy. But props to you if you can end the semester with all in tact. thats 2 overload semesters combined pretty much lol. Honestly I dont think you have anything to worry about. If they feel somethings fishy about your application or whatever they would of contacted you. Plus when you receive an acceptance its only a conditional acceptance which means you have to go through a process to be actually admitted which is sending your transcripts and everything else. You'll be fine bookjunkie. Goodluck to you though, and same with you ashy. And everyone else who hasn't heard yet.

Thanks irvin..Same to you!!

Finally received my acceptance letter packet. White envelope, with "You're In!". YEEEEE!!! There's not much in there though but the official acceptance letter was nice.

Hey I have a quick question:
If I didn't do a FAFSA form, will that somehow effect my admission status?
