@aero2714 I got waitlisted for International Relations, I figure since it seems as though they are accepting by departments we would hear around the same time-ish? Let me know when you hear back please!

@19960411 Of course I dont mind and im anxious as well!!! I read it on another thread, the user actually called UC Davis, and they said its by department, idk if its true but u can always call and confirm

@Cynntrigg Hey. Based on my conversations with admissions, it is also my understanding that it is done by department. However, unless you have been outright rejected at this point- which started going out almost as soon as offers of admission from the waitlist went out, remember that there is still a chance. If your department has already sent out offers to waitlisted potentials, and they decline that offer, you could be the very next one. I’ve not heard of any notifications sent out for international relations yet, so that is also in your favor. Keep your head up and good luck!

So I’m pretty sure I was rejected from the waitlist already but when it asked to do the 200 word statement and to update our Fall Semester grades and to give a prediction for our spring semester, it did say to put it into the comment section right? I just checked right now and it seems like its asking for me to put it into the actual grade area. I honestly don’t know if I was being dumb and misread it or if I did what was actually instructed 
for our “2015 spring” classes are we suppose to put our predicted grades? or just keep it as in progress? I’m still finishing up my spring classes.

when did you submit your offer? I just submitted mines today, I just hope it doesn’t ruin my chances in getting in.
@senpie Why are you sure you got rejected??? Did u actually get rejected or are u assuming? Dont assume that!!! Keep thinking positive and im not sure if u meant that you put your 200 word statement in the comments section? The comments section was for extra things you wanted to let them know maybe explaining a change of schedule or a grade, etc. While accepting your waitlist offer there should have been a specific box where u should have placed your statement if I remember correctly.

Has anyone heard of an animal science major getting accepted off the waitlist ? And does anyone know if calling the admissions office could damage or help your odds of getting in from the waitlist?
