if that's ur unweighted GPA then u got an Ok shot coast, try to get some community service and take the SAT's

Hey you guys. I meant your gpa after every semester as in not a single semester but how your gpa grew over time. but it's cool. if you guys feel like posting it you can.

I guess I will post mine just like you guys have it then.

fall 2003=2.5 (1 C (my only c) 1 B)
Spring 2004=3.54 (2 B and 2 A)
Summer 2004=3.0 (1 B)
Fall 2004=3.25 (3 B 1 A)
Spring 2005=3.69 (3 A 1 B)
Summer 2005=4.0 (2 A)
Fall 2005=4.0 (4 A)

12 A 8 B 1 C no W's no D's no F's

coast is transferring so sat's wouldn't matter.

I'm under the impression that a 3.29 transfer (from a california community college) GPA will give me a pretty good shot to UCSB. (And not just an 'ok' chance) I really hope so, 'cause I've really started to set my heart on UCSB.

Coast, why don't you do UCSB's transfer admission guarantee (TAG).

Sandkicks
Wow, you have many units there (probably about 80+) and are you transfering in Fall 2006? If so, how comes you didn't apply earlier like for Fall 2005?

Kevin 101 i only have 66 uc units.

Nikkei: Because I've already spent three years at my CC, and I don't really want to spend another year. I'm taking English this semester, so that nullifies my chances to use USCB's transfer agreement. :(

So I guess that leaves me with UCSD as my safety (through their 'TAG') and UCSB as a slight(?) reach as my #1 choice with no transfer agreement and a 3.29 gpa. I guess things could be worse?

The great thing about my (TAG) with UCSD is that I will jump right into their Political Science department(and not pre-major, etc..). They have a terrific poli sci department, so like I said earlier...things could be worse. :)

"12 A 8 B 1 C"
and only 66 units?
Well, your courses mostly cosisted of 3-4 semester units then, right?

Because in my case, most of my course are 4-5 units (lower division math and science) even when i have only 10 courses, i have 43 units already so i assump that you have 21 courses there, you have 43*2=80+

Summer 04 (3units) = 4.0
Fall 04 (14 units) = 3.79
Spring 05 (16 units) = 3.56
Fall 05 (16 units) = 4.0
Spring 06 (14 units) = yet to start

13 AP Units, finishing IGETC this spring, Poli Sci major

Cumulative: 3.8 ish lol with around 76 units

UCLA and UCB(87 days to go)...

UCSD and UCSB(40 days to go)...

Nah hobofromdowntown, I just go to College of the Canyons.

knock on wood, i have a feeling my second semeseter at berkeley is about to get better. i got picked to be a peer counselor and the ppl in that group seem like they would be very cool friends to hang with :)

hey kevin 101 yeah i mostly took 3 unit courses and some 4 units. I also have a number of other courses that weren't uc transferrable so i cant include them with my other courses. I didnt take science and math that much so that is probably why you see alot of 5 unit courses.

UCLA and UCB(86 days to go)...

UCSD and UCSB(39 days to go)...

Big day for me tomorrow with the USC kids
