welcome kylefc, what is your story

tncpauld, I don't know. I just know that my friends who all had ~3.3 gpas all got into UCSB and UCD.

i got nothing from individual campuses, i just got a letter from general UC app center....

What's that general UC app status site?

tncpauld, you have a good chance.

FILIPINOS are the next minority after American Indians. Do you think that would help me?

I don't think there is anymore AA after that lawsuit against UC Davis.

I love all-nighters

Thank you for the link gabew42, it is very informative.

Yeah, all transfer apps went down except for Berkeley...

thanks gabe for the link.

Approximately 11,000 transfer applicants for UCLA. I hate my life.

why do you guys think that the transfer rate went down? (even Cal's 1.4% increase is insignificant compared to its freshmen apps).

nikkei! 11,000 applicants is good! didn't ucla have 12,000 last year?

correction: ucla had 13,106 apps last year! And since UCLA admits 5000 students, this 2006 applicant pool almost gives a 50-50 spot to an applicant who just simply applies! This is great news for you nikkei!

woot 50/50 is good!!!

hmmm...I didn't think about it that way lol.

nikkei, whats wrong? why dont' you think you won't get into UCLA?

dude there are intercampus folks who have lower GPAs that get in!

a 3.7 is very competitive at LA!

pre-decision jitters... expect a wave of this the week before decisions come out. I'm expecting the worst, hoping for the best.
