How badly did I screw up my chances at the UCs? I did the second application on 1/25/06 instead of the first day it was available. My friend just told me that they accept as time goes so applying on the first day the update is avilable increases ones chances by a lot.

Are you serious? This is the general UC update form right?

I thought they only consider it AFTER the deadline of 2.15.... I mean you still can continuously update the thingy up till the deadline even after u hit submit.

yea I'm talking about the general uc update form and Cal update form

Nickei, the campus seems even more crowded now.

I have classes everyday starting at 8:00 AM, so parking is available at that time... I know all about parking probs since my average time for looking for parking in Fall 2004 was proly 40 mins...

I have no idea about satelite campus... I recommend parking outside, 3 blocks south of Ocean Park. It's a 10 min walk, but parking is always there and it's free. If u need directions to it, just PM me...

I work in a kitchen at a hospital near the coast.

WillDO,

where r ur sources?

Yuriy, I usually park on 24th street if I don't have a parking permit. That is what I had to do tonight to buy my parking permit. It is crazy how expensive our permits our compared to other CCs. I believe it costs nearly as much as CSU Fullerton's parking permits! I paid $30/semester for parking at Irvine Valley College.

Don't have any other than him. I'm trying to see if I can find anything right now to verify his claims.

Willdo what are you talking about!you just need to submit the update by the deadline. it wont increase or decrease your chances at all. stop listening to your friends.

Ask him how HE KNOWS. I think this is probably way off.

UCLA and UCB (76 Days to go)...

UCSB and UCSD (29 days to go)...

do a USC countdown =P

hahahahahah. I didn't apply there.

And I somewhat dislike all the SC fans that call me out randomly for wearing UCLA gear. I'm always like ***? I'm just going to class man, I don't effing care what school you think is better. These are probably the same people that couldn't get into SC if they tried and the same people that equate the quality of a university with the record of their football team. Not a very smart equation, if you ask me.

Sorry for the madd tangent hobofromdt, but yah man good luck with the SC thing. Tis a fine university. Is it your top choice?

nah, my top choice is a coin flip between LA and USC... Cal is a very fine school but i don't dig the vibe there...

When do you find out for SC? I'm down to start a countdown =]

The title of this thread is "UC DECISION DATES." Last time I checked, USC was not a UC.

haha i was going to start it on a new thread...

"The title of this thread is "UC DECISION DATES." Last time I checked, USC was not a UC."
Yeah, I can see that 1 is not 2 hahahha

Anyways, when will USC announce our admission status if send in everything in a timely manner?

Nickei, sounds like a long walk from 24th street, i usually park on 17th walk 3-4 blocks up when i couldn't find parking...

But the price for parking is not too much compared to UCLA. I think UCLA parking is like 200-300 dollars per quarter and u'd have to be lucky to get it...

How are ur classes looking? Mine seem ok so far. Not as bad as i thought, having class at 8 AM daily. A lot of work though. Haven't done anything yet though, hopefully will do some work b4 my night class today.

You've got to be very lucky to get parking at UCLA. I was orignally planning on commuting from Santa Clarita, and I was actually denied parking. However since after that I decided to do the dorm thing, all worked out for the best.
