only 30 days, time flies by so fast.

Sigh

Are any of you guys working part-time/full-time? If so, how many hours are you working per week?

3 jobs. 22 hours total.

12 units + 30 hours/week. That shouldn't be an overload, right?

happy v day everyone!

yeah this is my easy quarter
english 1a
poli sci 1
history 17 b

poli sci major..2nd quarter here

bearclaw15, good luck! I am a poli sci major as well.

calgirl21, Happy V-Day to you too! What do you have planned with the bf? ;)

nikkei - are you still in jC right now? it's ur last year right?

Humanities - honors (IGETC)
Anthropology - honors (IGETC)
Asian History - honors (IGETC)
Int'l Politics - Major

12 units plus 20 hrs working at In-n-Out...It shouldn't be too hard except for all my honors research papers..

woot woot poli sci majors..

dude is in n out a good place to work? i hear they pay 9.25....do u get free food? lol

ha, as far as how companies treat their workers, in-n-out is good. But that doesn't mean you'll enjoy working there, ya know.

true...after making all those animal style fries all day. and their aprons are always hella greasy....should be fun for the first few days but then i'm sure it sucks

haha, yeah the pay is good and you get one free meal every shift, but I hate smelling like onions. :(.

9.25 for doing that crap is garbage. Many of us CC transfers will have associates degrees very soon. If an AA gets you nothing else, I think it can at least fetch you a job paying 10/hour.

My advice: stay away from the food industry.

I'm working 30 hours and only taking 3 classes. Will that look bad to admissions people? by the way everyone, don't shop at claire's (where I work). they're racist a**holes.

hahah i liked that wink nikki

im not really a big valentine's day person, so no frills and candy and flowers and all that stuff. i'm going out with my girl friends who are celebrating singlehood and i'm going with them because... i'm still my own person even though i'm in a relationship! yay!! (haha) then afterward, my bf and i are goign to get together and watch a movie and dinner.

btw, haven't seen u here in awhile. what you been up to?

i make 10.75 an hour and that is base starting pay. the best part is i just wash pots the whole time im at work and i never have to deal with any members of the annoying public. amen.lol.

well, i'm going to be making 0 dollars an hour for a crappy internship doing boring stuff.. oh well, everyone has to start somewhere right?!

anyone else just starting spring semester?

Can't wait for first week to finally come to an end.

Sandkicks, if you don't mind me asking where do you work?

calgirl21, I've been good. Been keeping myself busy with work and school. How are things going at CAL?

Yuriy, parking this semester seems worst than Fall. I am ****ed that they don't allow you to park for free anymore after 5:00pm in parking structure A. I think I will just buy a parking permit since I will be using, if my math is correct, $45 to park on the street at the AET satellite campus. I figured that I would just buy a parking permit for $30 more.
