UC Decision Out

I just got my acceptance letter from UC Irvine, but I thought the UCs tell you your decision around March 30. Did anyone else hear from UCI yet.

I think only UCI and UCM will notify applicants starting from March 1.
The rest of them will send out decision letters starting mid-March.
Then UCB, on the evening of MARCH 30

UCR starts on March 1 too...

UCSD will post their admission decision around the mid-March and continue on the daily basic

UCLA starts on early May and so does Cal

USC starts around May-June

Note: This is for transfer students; freshmen will get their decisions little earlier than transfer students do.

DUDE... not really... USC began today (March 2nd.. see USC forum) UCB is on march 31.... UCLA is march 15 and onwards

ughh i got into UCR with chancellor's , anyways im waiting for the other ucs , irvine is ****ing me off, i gotta wait , anyways gl to everyone else

Hey, you are missing the NOTE:This is for transfer students; freshmen will get their decisions little EARLIER than transfer students do.

is it different??/ my bad

ucla engineering sent me a letter saying they recommended me for admission and that i should receive the official admission later this month. how thoughtful of them since its only march 3rd =)

btw: is it kinda odd that i got in with a 3.9 weighed? i thought it was kinda low and i didn't even expect to get in...

is this da?

oh god by does ucb have to be the stuck up one??????????????.....it has to be the last one...darn we have to wait 27 days!!!!....SCARY

changbj88, zman is not a name I would use, lol!

hahahahah yaew

HOw come they don't send decisions in one pile?? Why "onwards"? I'm waiting to receive a rejection from Irvine...sigh. I still haven't got any response.

Less than two weeks before UCLA decisions are out...

Just got a letter from UCLA Engineering school, saying the faculty recommended my acceptance. I have heard that a lot of times people get into either berkeley or UCLA but not both. This sucks cuz i'd rather go to berkeley since its way better in engineering.

Is it true that you can only get into UCLA or UCB but not both o.o

i got into USC on feb 8

No, that is a false rumor. Actually, I believe the majority of applicants who get into ucla also get into ucb, and visa versa. I saw the stats on this somewhere i while ago and i forgot where. But from personal experience I have numerous friends who get into berk and ucla.

also,
ivypoison,
congrats on your admission to usc!

I don't think the majority of applicants get into both UCLA & Cal. But there are a number of them that do get accepted into both colleges.
