Ok here's the deal:

GPA: 3.78
Major: Electrical Engineering

What do you think?

Ok here's the deal:

GPA: 3.78

What do you think?

impressive gpa for a EE, as most of the people here know a 3.7 is good for all UC's except LA and B

as for those 2, only time will tell

You should be in at all of them, especially if that 3.78 comes from an especially difficult school.

now lets not be so hasty

here are the stats for UCLA

Electrical Engineering 222 98 44.14% 28.82% 3.50 3.75 120 125

3.75 was last years ave accepted GPA, HOWEVER a year before that it was 3.81, so it moves around, dont think your a shoe in because of that guy

Heh, if his GPA is about average for UCLA, and that's really all we have to go by... why shouldn't he be in?

yea average by last years stats, a year before he's actually below average, and there are always other factors, no one is a shoe in just because they have the AVERAGE accepted GPA hence the definition of the word "average", if your going by that your a dreamer
