@chr1st1 I did do academic renewal. I still have one class that I couldn’t do one until this semester. And a lot of my grades from the past are C’s. And you can’t retake for better grades. Its lame. It’s ok. I’ll get in where I’m supposed to go, GPA resets when I transfer so I should have more options for grad school.
@jasonb511 yeah c’s suck, those are killer on the gpa. do they really reset? i was wondering about that.

@val916 alright. I really hope you get off the wait list and accepted soon!!! Thanks for the response. I still haven’t heard anything about being accepted,wait listed or rejected. Whatever happens, happens. If we don’t get in, it wasn’t meant to be. I hope all turns well for you!!
@dannybui9 they said that they will be rolling out acceptances tomorrow, or just denials?
Waitlisted around 2 pm today. Sociology major. I’m still optimistic though

The sad thing is a lot of people that were probably accepted plan to go to UCLA or UCB. I really don’t think they can see if you accept an admission somewhere else. That wouldn’t make sense.I know a someone that got into UCLA and UCB that ended up choosing CSULB oddly enough. However I do know most people acceptances to the other schools are technically pending if you don’t accept or decline the offer in the other portals you don’t intend on going. Think about how many people got into UCLA or UCB that also applied to Irvine but aren’t going. So I’m positive a lot of Waitlisters will get in.
I haven’t received any notification but I’m already starting my appeal essay 
this is my second time applying and I can’t handle being rejected twice

Did you get accepted elsewhere? I’m still waiting for UCM if that doesn’t end well I guess it looks like I’ll have to enroll at my CC for the fall.
Anyone know how the waitlist works after you opt in? The people in admissions arent really helpful
