@dtmai000 well I didn’t get anything , but I am an out of state student from Penn State and I’m actually not expecting much from any of the UC schools at this point. They all hated me :(( . I’m waiting though , on uci and usc

I was accepted into Cal State Fresno and it looks like I’m going to accept it just so I don’t lose my spot, because the deadline is May 1st and I heard from a UCI admissions person that the admissions/decisions will be probably going until Monday of this week. I am wait listed as a Business Admin major. A lot of people are getting wait listed 
Man, I’ll take even a wait list over a rejection right now. I’m also wait listed for CPP, if I get wait listed at UCI as well I have a little bit better chance of getting into one. [-O<
@boredandconfused well apparently for UCI the way i read and understood it is that they do waitlist different. Once youre in the waitlist pool…its not based on your major anymore but on your overall body of work against others inside the waitlisted pool.
@vikings101 so in short it’s pretty much the strongest survives. In regards to the wait list pool only the best applicants in the wait list are admitted
Thats the way i understood it. @CancelOut seems like they will now compare you to others that opted into the waitlist pool.

And then it also depends on the amount of opening they have for waitlisters…compared to last year…1600 were offered waitlist…about 900 opted into waitlist pool…and about 300 were admitted after all that. @CancelOut
Was today only wait list decisions? I checked on Instagram and some people got admitted today but based off my decision and others, applicants were wait listed.
Computer Science major 3.48 GPA, Applied to TAG still waiting.
I talked to admissions and they said they do a second review of your application. So judging from that I don’t know how hopeful I should be since it didn’t make it the first time. Does anybody know when they start accepting waitlist offers??? Im going crazy trying to figure it out. Is it after the June SIR deadline or after admissions are done??? :-?

@boredandconfused if it’s by June 30, that’ll be way past the SIR if you’ve been accepted. I don’t think people would get a decision before May 15 because that’s deadline for accepting the wait list. I wish it earlier also. Wait list is such a tease.
