I got accepted at 5pm into the drama program!
Regular admission not TAG / H2H, 3.75 GPA but 4.0 in major courses
i got waitlisted for aero engi and also had an internship at NASA LOOL now im scared about the other ones

UCI Honors Program.
Lmao same, UCI was the easiest school I applied to… might actually be screwed for the rest.
I got waitlisted… idk if it was for software engineering or infromatics but I assume informatics lol
they sent me an email saying i was selected to be a member for their honors program about a day after getting accepted, so april 10th. it’s also noted on my admitted portal page, right below the applicant checklist.

I’m a mom of 3 small kids with 1 on the way, I have a lot of ECs including my CC’s honors program + put strong PIQ answers.
Thinking even if I get accepted to UCLA of denying it (crazy I know but its about a 90 min commute and because of my family it might be better to stay close.

I’m thinking of denying a UCLA offer as well if I get in. I live in Laguna Beach with my husband, so I can’t just go dorm it in LA lol. So I feel ya, UCI is just rational! I couldn’t imagine a 90 min commute.
Everyone I’ve talked to tells me to take the UCI offer and run with it - and I know I should. I think you should too given your situation! And if more people pick UCI over UCLA, maybe “we” will shake off the 2nd choice rep!
