I got a similar email earlier this year because like the genius I am, misreported my coursework and put the same course twice. Make sure if it is anything like that that you submit another TAU with the correction before March 31st. Also I individually contacted each school I applied to to make sure they all saw my changes.
Does anyone know if UCI Honors to Honors Guarantee decisions come out at the same time as TAG decisions? This document says that it’s early April for guarantees; H2H transfers are technically guarantees too, right?
Does anyone know what would happen if I were to drop a class mid April that wasn’t a major requirement? Would they rescind my offer? It’s a comm class that I was only taking for CSU admissions in the second 8 weeks of the semester. I can drop it April 16th without a W. I’m just concerned that since I reported that class on my application and drop it UCI might have an issue.
I think it’s fine as long as you’ll still have enough transfer credits and it doesn’t break your TAG contract (if you’re doing that). definitely check w a counselor or one of the admissions ppl though
Ask Ms. Sun on facebook has it listed as TAG will be early April and regular decisions will be mid-April. That’s kind of the only info I have but maybe someone else knows more
The official document on Ms. Sun’s site said early April for guarantees, and mid-April for the rest. I believe Honors to Honors applicants are lumped with the TAG applicants, since H2H is technically a guarantee as well. Furthermore, UCI has historically released TAG and H2H decisions on the same day. I’d guess regular decisions should hear back by April 16th, maybe?
It’s a separate thing. H2H stands for Honors to Honors. It’s a kind of admission guarantee for anyone enrolled at a UCI partner college. This flyer lists all of the current UCI-partner community colleges.
How it works is, if you attend one of those colleges, and if you’re enrolled in that college’s Honors Program, there’s a way to guarantee your admission to Irvine for the major of your choice. The requirements are:
You must have at least a 3.7 UC-transferable GPA
You must have completed ALL of the required preparation for your major
You must complete the specific requirements for your college’s Honors Program (15 units of Honors courses, must meet with an Honors counselor, etc.)
If you meet all those requirements, you’re guaranteed admission to UCI and automatically enrolled in UCI’s Honors Program, hence the name Honors to Honors. Hope this helps!
I think she is pretty accurate for the most part. It does say that the batches would be rolling so it’s possible some people have gotten it but most could be coming later. That kind of what UCSC did too
