I’m currently a business major, and because I have to take the calculus courses to apply to UC, I’m now taking college algebra(math 141) and trigonometry(math 142) simultaneously at community college. Math 141 is transferable course to UC, 142 is not tho. I’m doing pretty well in 141 class, but in 142, I think I’ll probably get B. But does the grade of 142(tri) affect my GPA when applying to UC even if it is non transferable course? If it affects, I’m considering get F and retake it next semester.
It won’t affect the GPA. They don’t care about non-transferable courses.
