@strive UCI has a Regents too but there is no supplemental application. They apply for you when you apply. I believe UCD has one as well but I didn’t apply there so I’m not positive!

@ LA, thanks!!

One more question, I read somewhere that being invited to Regents scholar doesn’t guarantee acceptance. But does it give you more chance in getting accepted?

@strive Lol, you pretty much answered your own question. No, unfortunately, it does not give you a better chance.

Well it means you are in the top 1-2% of the applicant pool, which means that it is very likely you will be accepted, but not guaranteed.

I have a 3.9 -_____-
Well, I guess I have the slightest chance still. D:

Has anyone gotten a message about Regents yet? I mean, by this time last year, Regents was long gone and done with.

Applied to UCI(Merage)/UCSD(Econ)/UCLA(Biz Econ)/UCB(Haas) with a 4.0. No word on Regents for myself or any of my 3 friends who also applied with 4.0’s.

I applied last year w/L&S major and I got a Regents email from UCLA around Feb. 11. I’m pretty curious what’s going on. Maybe they changed their procedure or it’s more exclusive now?

I have a 4.0 too, applied to UCI/UCLA/Cal/UCSD all for econ. No word on regents.

I wonder what’s going on. if they did send out emails regarding regents, i would make sense that transfers would make threads about it, which they haven’t. So no idea what’s going on.
