Hello, everyone
I got rejected by UCSB and UCSD. The reason they said are the same, "because you failed to respond to our emails regarding to .....". But I promise I never received emails from them. I even checked the spam folder. The email address is correct in my UC application. I got accepted into UCD, UCSC and UCI, which all sent emails correctly into my mailbox.
Anyone has the similar experience. In this situation, if I go through appeal process, how much chance do I have to succeed? thanks

Which one do you actually want to attend ?

I had the same thing happen to
me… =(… Sucks!

i’m sorry to hear that :[

::goes and checks spam mail religiously::

oh wow that sux dude… you should have checked your spam folder. I received a very important email from davis in my spam and it read that if i didn’t reply by the week my app would be canceled.

It happened to me as well, but it was from UCR. They withdrawn my application saying that I did not reply an email in time, however, I never received any email from them. I gave a call to UCR admission office, and was able to talk with my admission recruiter. After he went through my application, he admitted their computer made a mistake, and school never sent an request email to my account. He admitted me right after that. So you should definitely give them a call, it might just be a mistake of theirs.

I got into UCSB, but there was nothing to work with their email. They sent me just some information about scholar ship, or you’ll need your account so make it.
It is weird because you failed to respond their emails.

wow, that really sucks. but you can prove that the email were coming in from other UC schools. so you should (of course) appeal if you were rejected from your first choice schools. good luck. that is a real nightmare.
