Don’t be scared. It’s not the end of the world. If you do get rejected then just try again next year.
Anybody know anything about off campus apartments?
and theyre still releasing decisions or waitlist? 
Does anyone know when the last day to apply for housing is?? Is it really May 10th? @-)
@Vivi182 May 10th is to have a guarantee spot but just letting you know. I called housing yesterday and for the most economic apartments that I applied I am in the waitlist. So most of the apartments are already taken so we will get what is left. But you can always try off campus.

In the other hand… for all you guys waiting for decisions… why do you think this is happening? I was accepted on May 1 but denied by the rest of the universities because I did not finish IGTC or the 7 uc patter course… what about you? Are you in the same situation or maybe your GPA is low? or prereqs not completed?
@faithcareer I think it is because I am a sophomore transfer, so they give me priority last? Because from what I learned, sophomore transfers go to a separate special “transfer” pile and will be considered LAST. This means that admissions will fill as much junior transfers as possible and then look at sophomore transfers if there is still space left!

I just called admissions again and this time they said that they will still be releasing decisions throughout the month, at most by NEXT week. I keep getting mixed answers!
Tranfers have until June 1st to SIR… I believe you guys should hear from UCR before this deadline…

Honestly I could see UCR extending their SIR date for transfers. They extended notification for transfers, why not the SIR date as well?
@Ghost3262 Per their website: For Transfers - June 1 - Submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) (if admitted by May 10). To those still waiting, the SIR deadline will most likely be extended for you since May 10th has passed.
To anyone who has SIR’d and has received usernames and such, I was wondering… Do you guys get e-mails sent to your R’Mail account often?
