Fullerton is a good choice for Engineering and CS majors as well. State governor approved budget for new technology center last year. My son was accepted to CSFU and it is one of his top choice now.

IDK Im Trying to stay hopeful 
The incoming freshmen at CSUF/CSULB/CPP, etc, would have been going to a UC in the past. When my son started applying to colleges, I couldn’t believe how much more competitive certain CSUs had become.
I completely understand wanting the UC name brand, but they’ve gotten insanely competitive. As a result, I believe the CSUs are attracting better and better students. Your son can be proud to attend Fullerton or San Marcos, both solid universities.
