Hi guys I am applying Fall 2015 as a general biology major and I would like to know if anyone who is a bio major right now got accepted! It would be helpful if you include your gpa, u-link or not, completed pre-requisites or not, etc. Also I would like to know if a withdrawal or “W” for a semester will affect my chances? I am debating whether or not to drop my physics class and take it next semester instead; but if I drop it there will be a “W”.
W will not affect, since UCs don’t consider them.
Thank you! and to what semester do they look at to determine whether they accept you or not? I will apply during Fall 2015…so they will look at my Fall 2014, Spring 2015, and Summer 2015 for sure. But do they ask for Fall 2015 later on to determine as well?
Yes, you have to submit a Transfer Academic Update (TAU) in January which includes your Fall 2015 grades.
So overall Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Summer 2015, as well as Fall 2015 will be used to determine whether you get admitted or not. After that they will just require you to maintain a certain gpa during Spring 2016?

Actually @bonbon2 let me amend, all college units are counted up until the Fall prior to transfer. If you took CC units in HS, those are also counted.
Does anyone know if the financial aid estimate given with the acceptance includes scholarship awards? Was anyone awarded any scholarships?
