UC Santa Barbara (UCSB)

Can you please tell me the likelihood of getting into UCSB. I really want to know, and I would appreciate your help greatly if you spend just a couple minutes of your time to give me my likelihood. Thank you, this means a lot :)

Talents: I have been playing a rare traditional Japanese instrument called the Tsugaru Shamisen for 7 years and I have performed/volunteered (volunteered for 60+ hours but don't have any proof which is a bummer) for numerous events and concerts.

Half Japanese, Half white. Bilingual in English and Japanese

Major-Physics

...do you think it's possible to overshadow my GPA if I get higher SAT scores? Also, my Extracurricular isn't so on-point, will that affect my chances a lot?

Average UC GPA: 4.0+ Average SAT: 1900. UCSB is more holistic in their admissions and does like higher SAT scores and more leadership in you EC’s so you would probably need at least a 2000+ to make up for the lower GPA. You do have a chance but with so much competition for the UC’s, I would definitely consider UCSC/UCR/UCM and some Cal States if you are in-state California.
