<p>I am thinking that if you weren’t accepted today that it means you might have not got in, a lot of people especially a lot of my friends got their acceptances today, but I have yet to hear a person with a low gpa (less than 3.0) being accepted today.</p>

<p>Apparently people with 2.9ish GPAs got in last night. I doubt that it’s a GPA thing - I spoke to the department for my major and was told that the majors which require a comprehensive evaluation for entry (engineering, etc) would be evaluated during the last week of March, with results coming out the first week of April.</p>
<p>Why do all the schools that I DID NOT apply to put out their decisions first?</p>
<p>Question though. How many of you that got accepted did not complete all your Major Prep classes? Which classes for which major?</p>

<p>I just got in @ UCSC yesterday!yay!!!..actually I checked my e-mail in the afternoon and they told me I was told me I was accepted at midnight but I was up at midnight.idk,that’s weird.Anyhow I got 4 more to go!</p>

<p>This is my top choice, I’m pretty much extremely nervous regarding my GPA. I got accepted into SJSU, so that is my back-up. I am wishing now that I had applied to UC Merced and Davis (I qualified for TAG). </p>
<p>My stats (for those of you wondering):
Major: Anthropology
GPA 2.95 (I have a very thorough explanation RE this in my essay.)
ECs: Working part time, loads of consistent volunteer work with a local public school: PTSA, Marching Band staff, fund-raising etc., random volunteer work with multiple organizations such as Special Olympics, PETA, US National Wildlife Refuge , and some other more home-grown organizations.
PreReqs for Major: Done
IGETC: Finishing last class for it this spring: Math 2. (Have been taking the math courses up to this point) EEP. I heard on a board somewhere that this can get you denied (taking Math requirement in the Spring before transfer!). </p>
<p>I would like to add I read on a previous board in 2010 that they give out the decisions in batches every day at Midnight. I’m not sure if this applies for weekends.</p>
<p>I still haven’t heard back and I’m getting nervous.</p>

Out of state transfer from community college

<p>I called admissions yesterday afternoon and they told me that they had notified a little over half of the transfer applicants; however, I should not assume that I was rejected if I haven’t heard back yet… :/</p>
<p>I am still waiting. I applied with a 3.04 gpa and Sociology major. I completed IGETC but did not TAG to this particular campus</p>
<p>Applied to the Computer Engineering Dept, checking everyday despite the fact that the Engineering Dept doesn’t announce acceptances till the first week in April…</p>
<p>Once you guys get accepted, they will send you a lot of free stuff.</p>
