I applied as an Applied Physics major with a 3.6 GPA from a CC. I can’t wait to see the decision!!! Also applied to UCB and UCD however I really love SC and I hope I get in!

Our notification period begins midnight (Pacific Daylight Time) on March 17 and concludes on April 30. All admission decisions are posted in the portal, and admitted students are also notified with a letter sent to the current mailing address. We will begin posting out decisions on the portal on March 17 according to the first letter of your last name in the following time blocks:
A - C beginning at 12:00 a.m.
D - G beginning at 1:00 a.m.
H - K beginning at 2:00 a.m.
L - N beginning at 3:00 a.m.
O - S beginning at 4:00 a.m.
T - Z beginning at 5:00 a.m.

@VoTortoise I vaguely recall that you posted that you got your TAG approved for UCSC? In any case, if that’s true then I doubt you should have very much to worry about. I got accepted through TAG too, though it would be nice to have an official acceptance in a couple of days to confirm it. 
UC GPA: 3.6 (but also have some grades from a foreign university where I didn’t do too well, so it could be a bit lower when those are factored in)
Major: Electrical Engineering
TAG: Yes
Prerequisites: All completed except for one required for graduation (not required for admission)
Essays: 8-9/10
Extracurriculars: Treasurer and secretary of engineering club; science club member
Awards: Phi Theta Kappa; school honor roll
Other: Female engineering student? Don’t know if that helped with my admission but it might have given me a couple of extra points for diversity.

@ARandomPerson1 - yes i was TAG accepted. I am still anxious though!!
Also how do you know your score for your essay??
@VoTortoise It’s just a subjective estimate of how good my essays were, based on how well I conveyed what I wanted to share with the admissions office. But anyway, don’t worry! I’m sure you’ll be officially accepted tomorrow.
